Patients who receive a manufactured valve will almost always require a blood-thinning medication for the rest of their lives. The blood thinner will keep clots from forming. Living with a Mechanical Heart Valve can be challenging, but you're not in it alone. Lincare’s affiliates are here for you and provide at Home PT/INR Testing. The INR Testing program may improve health-related quality of life while receiving the medical treatment you need.
The Lincare team wants to ensure your patients feel empowered and informed about the treatment you've prescribed. Our chronic disease management services are an important part of the respiratory therapy services we provide. Our programs are designed to educate patients about their respiratory condition. We assist them in following your treatment plan, as well as help them understand how it works and why it's important. Our mission is to help your patients thrive and become active partners in their care through our disease management education.
Lincare was founded on the belief that through patient education and clinical support, we can improve patient compliance with physician-prescribed therapies, resulting in a better health-related quality of life for the patient.
